ABOUT THE ACTOR
Carter Rose Sherman is a Chicago-based actor. Though she originally hails from Missouri (and dearly misses the cows from her childhood backyard) she loves the artistic family she’s found in the Windy City.
Theatre is her soul-mate. Her favorite projects include Nell Gwynn at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Heathers (Veronica) at The Edge Theatre, AND Miranda: A War Torn Fable (Amelia) with Impostors Theatre Company, for which she earned a Jeff nomination.
Writing is her passion project. Carter holds a minor in creative writing, and her debut poetry anthology, All We Have Wrought, will be available to purchase later this year!
Carter is also an impassioned intimacy choreographer, dedicated to improving rehearsal-room safety across the industry. The foundation of her work is rooted in trauma- and consent-forward practices
